A l’expiration du mandat (2012 – 2018) de la présidente, Madame Ella Salhab Bitar, et conformément aux statuts internes de la Société de Saint Vincent de Paul – Liban, M. Paul Fakher El Kallassi a été élu comme président de la Société au Liban.
L’élection a eu lieu le dimanche 13 Mai 2018, au siège du Conseil national de la Société à Bourj Hammoud, en présence du collège électoral.
M. Paul El Kallassi, nouveau président, est la personne que le Saint Esprit a choisi au service des pauvres.
Par sa simplicité, sa modestie et son humilité, sera un exemple à suivre.
Par sa spiritualité, il aimera, écoutera et orientera les membres de la SSVP Liban.
Par ses compétences, il fera progresser la Société à tous les niveaux.

The mandate of the National President of the SSVP in Lebanon, Mrs. Ella Bitar, has expired on May 6th, 2018. In accordance with the Internal Statutes of the SSVP, Mr. Paul Fakher El Kallassi was elected as the new President of the SSVP in Lebanon. The election took place on Sunday, May 13, 2018, at the Headquarters of the National Council of the Society in Bourj Hammoud, in the presence of the Electoral College.
Mr. Paul El Kallassi, the new President, is the person whom the Holy Spirit has chosen to serve the poor. By his simplicity, his modesty and his humility, he will be an example to follow. By his spirituality, he will love, listen and guide the members of the SSVP Lebanon. By using his skills and expertise, the Society will advance and improve at all levels. Let us all pray for his new mission.
