Christmas Festivities
Christmas is always a special time in our Conferences, thanks to the generosity of SSVP friends, individuals and commercial enterprises. Lebanese, Iraqi and Syrian children get invited to join us in celebrating several Christmas events which we organize ahead of time. Games, gifts, and entertainment prepared by the Vincentians, friends and scouts, as well as some volunteers from other schools, help the children share the joyous moments and forget the precarious conditions in which they live in. Exceptional Christmas festivities are also celebrated with our elderly, in SSVP Conferences and Care Homes.
Camp – Burj Hammud
During summer, different Lebanese Apostolic NGOs organize Day Camps, in which they gather children from disadvantaged backgrounds to participate in teamwork programs that foster their personal growth and confidence.

Day Camp – Dekwaneh
Day camps, in general, are carefree living place where kids aged 5-12 years, relax, laugh, move, run, disconnect from media and learn life-long skills, such as teamwork, responsibility, nature love, and making new friends.

Summer Camp – Dekwaneh
Each year, Youth of Conference Saint George – Dekwaneh, gather younger youth in an exceptional Summer Camp. While playing and relaxing, becoming more independent, kids get to know God, embrace Saint Vincent de Paul and Frederic Ozanam’s spirituality, and learn by example from older youth, so one day they would become committed Vincentians.
